About Us

Eze Paws

At Eze Paws, we provide thoughtful, reliable grooming with comfort at the center of every visit. From experienced groomers to added care included with every appointment, our goal is to make grooming feel easy, calm, and reassuring — for pets and their people.

Passion for Pet Grooming

Eze Paws started as hands-on grooming work based at home — and as more clients kept flocking to our care, we grew into a neighborhood dog spa and dog boutique designed to serve families in Whitestone, Bayside, Flushing, and Fresh Meadows. Today, we continue our personal approach through full-service grooming, a convenient self-service dog wash, and a fully stocked supplies store featuring a curated selection of pet essentials. At our one-stop pet grooming shop, we ensure every visit supports comfort, cleanliness, and satisfaction from start to finish.

FAQs

Have a pet-related question? Check out these FAQs or give us a call today for more information!

What’s the best age to start getting my pet groomed?

K
L

We recommend introducing your puppy or kitten to grooming as early as 8–12 weeks old, once they’ve had their first round of vaccines. Early grooming helps your pet get used to the sights, sounds, and handling, making the experience stress-free as they grow.

How long do grooming appointments usually take?

K
L

Most grooming sessions take between 1.5 and 3 hours, depending on your pet’s size, coat condition, and the specific services requested. We always aim to work efficiently while keeping your pet calm and comfortable.

Do I need to bring my own shampoo?

K
L

Nope! We use high-quality, pet-safe shampoos tailored to different coat types and skin sensitivities. However, if your pet has a prescription or special shampoo, feel free to bring it, and we’ll be happy to use it during their appointment.

Do you trim dog toenails, too?

K
L

Yes, we absolutely do! Nail trimming is part of our full grooming service, but we also offer it as a standalone option if your pet just needs a quick paw cleanup. We also offer nail buffing, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and anal gland expressions.

How much do you charge for grooming?

K
L

Depending on the service you choose from an Eze Paws dog groomer, our services start at $80.

What is provided with your self-wash station?

K
L

At our self-wash dog groomer stations, we offer shampoo, towels, aprons, and blow dryers.

Do you need an appointment for self-wash?

K
L

No, if you prefer to be your own dog groomer, walk-ins are welcome for our self-wash stations.

What vaccinations do we need?

K
L

All dogs receiving grooming services at Eze Paws must be up to date on rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. Documentation of these vaccinations is required prior to service.

Do you take walk-ins for grooming?

K
L

Yes, if you'd like to see a dog groomer, walk-ins are accepted. However, an appointment is preferred.

How often should my pet get groomed?

K
L

Your pet should be groomed every 6 to 8 weeks; however, this may vary depending on your pet. For example, according to Yappy, dogs with long, thick fur should be groomed every four to six weeks.
